Back in August, when Apple released iOS 6 beta 4, it was discovered that the latest beta of iOS 6 removed the default YouTube app from iOS. Later after that, Apple replied saying “Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended”. That’s why YouTube submitted a native YouTube app for iOS. That app is now live in the app store.
With this release, you won’t need any YouTube alternative app or tweak; it brings everything you need. It shows trending videos, allows you to simply search for videos, sing in to your account and more!
The app is only available for iPhone and iPod touch users. There’s no promises about the iPad version of this native YouTube app.
This app seems to have no errors, no problems and works great.
