Jailbreak iPhone 5 running iOS 6 has been achieved on the first day of release, surprised? Those hackers are, indeed, wonderful; Grant Paul, better known as chpwn on Twitter, has recently managed to jailbreak his new iPhone 5 on iOS 6.
The news comes in a tweet from chpwn saying “Taller screens like Cydia too. ” well, they actually do! Later two new images had been posted; one showing Cydia screenshot on the taller screen and the other showing the device itself running Cydia.
Cydia looks great on the iPhone 5. Its taller screen makes it more wonderful. This news also means that there is big hope for jailbreaking A5 devices on iOS 6 as well (iPhone 4S and iPad 3).
Moreover, Paul has already confirmed that it is a real jailbreak in a reply to another iPhone hacker i0n1c.
There’s no information about the kind of the jailbreak, it might be tethered or untethered but it’s always an untethered jailbreak, and we hope so.
Currently, you can tethered jailbreak your A4-based device using the latest version of redsn0w by following our simple step-by-step guide here.Related posts:
